Lindsay Claire Pewter decor by Hampshire Pewter
Chihuahua Christmas Ornament
The Chihuahua is affectionate, protective, sassy, and loyal. They belong to the toy group and have a life span of about 14-16 years. History reveals that Chihuahuas probably date back a thousand years. They were very popular in the Toltec and Aztec civilizations. They were presumed lost after the conquest of Cortez. However, these little dogs were still living in remote villages and many were found in the State of Chihuahua, which gave them their name. The Chi is the smallest breed of dog and can be carried in a purse or small bag.
