Bullmastiff =”The Gamekeeper’s Night Dog”
The Bullmastiff is affectionate, brave, protective, and playful. They belong to the working group and have a life span of about 7-9 years. A cross between a Mastiff(60%) and a Bulldog(40%) they were originally bred as protective dogs for gamekeepers of English estates to help stop poaching. Smart enough to work on command, obedient enough to hold but not maul a poacher and big enough to scare an intruder.
