Airedale Terrier = King of Terriers

Airedale Terrier Ornament show that the Airedale Terrier is friendly, clever, courageous, playful and affectionate. They belong to the Terrier Group and have a life span of about 11- 14 years. The breed dates to the 19th century and are the result of the crossbreeding of the Welsh Terrier and Otterhound. They were primarily used as hunting dogs. It is known as the King of Terriers, as it is the largest of the terrier breeds. Interesting fact – the British army used them as messengers.
