Afghan Hound Christmas Ornament

The Afghan Hound Dog Ornament represents the dignified, loyal and gentleness of the Afghan Hound. They belong to the hound group and live about 12- 15 years. The breed is believed to have originated in the area now known as Afghanistan, India & Pakistan. Afghan Hounds are sighthounds, because of their long narrow heads they have about a 270-degree field of vision. They were hunting companions, but also status symbols of royals, tribal chieftains, and aristocrats in Asia’s mountain kingdoms.
