Cairn Terrier=Left-pawed
The Cairn Terrier is affectionate, alert, protective, and playful. They belong to the terrier group and have a life span of about 13-15 years. Cairn Terriers originated in the Western Highlands, mostly on the Isle of Skye. They were called short haired Skye Terriers until the late 1800s when the name changed to Cairn. Named such because of its ability to chase and hunt vermin between the cairns in the Scottish Highlands. Cairn Terriers are left-pawed.
